Who we are

Your Kind of City is run by Shaun Moynihan, trading as Your Kind of City. Our postal address is 15017 Dayton Drive, Hudson, FL 34667, USA.

By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

What we sell

We sell one-time digital products: the Find My City ranking, the Cost Reality Check, and a bundle of both. Prices are listed in US dollars and exclude applicable tax, which is added at checkout before you pay. You may be shown your local currency.

There is no subscription and no recurring billing. You pay once.

The product ranks and compares cities on cost of living, safety, climate, healthcare, schools, language, freedom and related factors, to help you think about where to move.

Delivery

Everything we sell is digital. Access starts immediately once your payment succeeds, through your signed-in account.

Your right to cancel (EU and UK consumers)

If you live in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase made at a distance. For digital content, you can lose that right once access begins.

At checkout we ask you to confirm that you want access to start immediately and that you understand you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once it does. We record that agreement with your order.

Refunds

Your report is delivered instantly, so purchases can't be refunded for a change of mind. If something is wrong — your report won't load, or a fact about a city is wrong in a way that affects your results — email support@yourkindofcity.com within 14 days. We'll correct the data and re-run your ranking. If we can't fix it, we'll refund you in full.

Otherwise purchases are final, apart from rights you have under the law where you live.

Purchases are sold through Link, a Stripe service, which acts as the merchant of record: it takes your payment, calculates and collects any sales tax, VAT or GST, and sends your receipt. Your receipt and card statement will show Link (LINK.COM*). The report is provided by Shaun Moynihan, trading as Your Kind of City, who is responsible for support on its content.

Estimates, not advice

Our figures come from third-party data and data we compile ourselves. They are estimates, not quotes, and data can be incomplete or out of date.

Nothing we show you is legal, immigration, visa, tax, financial, medical or relocation advice. Check official sources, and speak to a qualified professional, before you act on anything important.

Monthly cost figures are recurring costs. They do not include one-off moving costs (deposits, shipping, visas, flights, temporary accommodation) or international school fees.

Your account and acceptable use

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Do not share your account access with others.

What you buy is licensed to you for your own personal use. Do not scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute the underlying data or reports, and do not try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the site available, but we cannot guarantee it will always be uninterrupted. Features, data and prices may change over time; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout.

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date below. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make in reliance on it.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be waived or limited by law.

Governing law

Your Kind of City is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in the State of Florida, United States; there is no separate company entity. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Florida.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live; those still apply.
